DESCRIPTION:Un film de Fred Niemeyer et Harold Lloyd -USA-1923\nMusique originale de Christofer BJURSTRÖM\nLe grand Harold Lloyd à l’assaut du très-très-très haut building ! Afin d’épouser sa bien aimée, Harold décide d’aller faire fortune à la ville. Son emploi de vendeur dans un grand magasin le confronte aux remontrances de son chef et aux meutes déchaînées de clientes. A sa fiancée survenue à l’improviste, il fait croire qu’il occupe un poste directorial et décide de gravir les échelons hiérarchiques…\nQuatrième des dix-huit longs métrages d’Harold Loyd, c’est la séquence de l’ascension du building qui fait de Safety last une oeuvre inoubliable et géniale. Elle occupe un tiers du métrage total. Comme dans les plus grandes séquences du cinéma burlesque (cf Keaton), le rire est en plus.\nAccompagné avec énergie et malice par Christofer Bjurström au piano, avec la participation exceptionnelle de la clowne Séraphine qui interprétera (?) les intertitres.\n
